What would your reaction be if while you’re sleeping someone( someone who lives in the same house with you) opened the door of your room and ask you something( it can be anything – like 21/3, or where did you put the candies, or why did you do that, etc.)? Did this ever happen to you?

Disciple, the question could be “What is the name of the fifth solo album of Michael Jackson?”
:))

Being the smart alec that you all know and love, :), If you wake me up for anything, you can figure my response is gonna be "off the wall," so, be careful what you ask for! :)

And your answer would be,.." Is it socially acceptable to blow one's nose in pubic?"

My husband would not go through my purse. I wouldn't care if he went in there looking for my aspirin or gum or whatever, but I would be really mad if he sneaked in there looking for something to accuse me of. I understand what you're saying. I don't know how to tell you to handle that, I just wanted to write and say I support the fact that you're mad about what he did. I do believe every person has the right to expect a certain amount of privacy, married or not.

Unless it was an emergency, I would be very annoyed..
My sleep or quiet time is very important (and necessary) to my well being.
If the inconsiderate person did this more than once, I would post a note on the door, like they do at hotels...Do Not Disturb!
Good a necessary question.......thanks

Yes. People also call me while I'm sleeping...I've had conversations on the phone, and then I'll wake up the next morning...I try to figure out if it was a dream, or if it was real...I love my friends, so I don't mind, but sometimes I wonder what kind of help I am when I'm talking and half asleep! LOL

Who opened the door? Are we talking roomie, sibling, or parents? If a roomie did that to me, it would be the LAST time they ever opened my door. You're obviously going to have to implement a "Do Not Disturb"-type sign on the door knob then lock your door when you want privacy or to sleep. I've never had anyone do that to me, and I would not like it.

that happens to me a good bit -
I wake up as much as I can and give a grumpy, groggy answer that may or may not be the correct answer .... hey, I am not responsible for what I say when I have already turned my brain off for the night! :O)

It could be anything...I say the weirdest things when I'm half asleep, and then I don't remember them the next morning. My husband usually has to remind me.

My feeling is I would not be offended if we were sleeping since they live in the house. I would ask them the next day to please knock first.
