hey you gotta do what you gotta do, right? at least girls who are doing that are trying to pay tuition to go to college and not spending their whole entire life wasted away as a fry-cook or something else.

I would look up strip clubs who hire waitresses. Its a step down from exotic dancing and you make amazing amounts of money in tips. Not as much as an exotic dancer but its definitely a lot. Once you're used to being in a strip club and can actually see first hand what exotic dancers do and what they potentially have to deal with, then you can decide whether or not you want to go all the way and just do the exotic dancing. It does seem like its just in the movies that people dance to put themselves through college but tons of people do it in real life as well. Good luck girl :)

There is nothing wrong with it, but think about when you are filling out a resume or in a high power career, do you want everybody to know you use to be an exotic dancers. There are better ways to make money. But it depends on the person's values.

I don't get the big deal. You've got to do what you've got to do. People make such a big deal over these kinds of jobs, yet demean those without a college education (or those who take 35 years to get a degree because they can't afford it all at once).
Not everyone can get a scholarship or have parents to pay their way through college. A job to get through college is a job to get through college. As long as it's voluntary (i.e., not forced prostitution, etc.), what's the problem?

so long as they don't go crying about it later, i had to get through school too, i never took my clothes off. If they want what they view as quick easy money, go ahead but don't complain that you don't have a choice or you're a victim.
You may very well be a victim of the pomp and circumstance but no more than anyone else is.

There is definitely nothing is wrong with it. These determined dancers/students are to be commended for their hard work. They are eating the grit to be successful in life.
*Charmz* thinks its low. So lets tell her what we think of her opinion. It sucks. (Rating her answer as BAD)
