Alright I need some help on what to do. I work a seasonal summer position, Monday-Friday for a campground. Well I've been scheduled to work today, I didn't go to work Friday and called out since I had a huge test on Saturday morning for college. Well tonight this girl asked me out on a date with her. I want to go out with her, but I also don't want to call out again. I don't really need the job but it is summer work to at least get some money, however, we planned on this date since Friday and I'd hate to cancel out now..

What do I do??

Reschedule the date for after work, or for another day when you don't have to work. Calling out is irresponsible and if you lose this job due to absenteeism it reflects badly when you apply for future jobs. Not only that, but I doubt that the girl would hang around if she knew you were broke!

well i would take the job because if the girl is really kind then she would let you go to the job. if u lose your job then it will be hard to get another one and then if the girl leaves u then there are more girls out there so i would take the job

Think to yourself what is more important; the job or the relationship with this girl.
It's your life, so it's your choice. But, you just have to come to conclusion to what your priorities are.

Talk to her. Explain to her what you told us. I'm sure she'll understand. If not then find someone who does.
