I definitely like Hollister's tanks, I like Abercrombie's hoodies and tees, I like Pac Sun's bathing suit selection, and I love almost everything at American Eagle. So, in essence, I would say American Eagle is probably the best because of its classy yet comfortable style. But it's really a matter of your own personal liking. I'll elaborate a little more though:

Hollister Co.: Nice design for some of their selections, like knits and tanks, but not so hot in other areas like tees. They're clothes are not entirely too expensive, but they are made out of the worst material. And I agree with the person before me, the sizes are ridiculous there, so I always purchase larges in knits so I can breath.

Abercrombie & Fitch: Is just like Hollister because some of their clothes are nice, and others are just repulsive, and also similar because the sizes are just ridiculous. But, Abercrombie is definitely more pricey than Hollsiter, for no apparent reason, because the quality of the material is no better.

Pac Sun: I don't shop there often, but after visiting the store a couple of times, they're clothing selection is basically composed of other designer brands like Volcom, Billabong, and Roxy, and I think those brands are simply not too pricey, are made of nice material, and have GREAT design, especially Billabong.

Aero: I've always liked Aero because it's, once again, inexpensive and simplistic and isn't just some kind of name brand. As for the material, I think it's just average and not something to go crazy for or to become hot tempered about.

American Eagle: Great selection, sort of pricey, but not too expensive. Great t-shirt designs, awesome tanks, very nice knits, good material, and much more. I don't have much to complain about for American Eagle.

But, once again, I think you really have to shop at these stores and use your own personal experience and input your own liking into your true pick.

I would say hollister because they have the same clothes as abercrombie only cheaper. Pac sun is a little to not preppy for me. And, everyone wear aeropostale and ae, so it is hard to find something that everyone else doesnt have.

American Eagle BECAUSE; they are sized greatly..affordable..and fashionable!
Pac sun too for the same reason besides the sizing!
AF & HCO are sized small deff` HCO,they are not made for all sizes,most of the tops you have to have smaller boobs to fit in lol.
They are wayyy to pricey especialy cause their clothes do not last that long and will shrink.All of the stores you named besides PacSun sells the same clothes but for some reason AF&HCO are over priced..

And NO i dont not have a problem with the cost but when you can find something at cheaper prices and better quality you dont buy it lol

oh and Aeropastale clothes are wacky sized like you have to REALLY try on the clothes before you buy them*

Each has its differences...

Hollister - fabulously cute and not too expensive (wearing Hollister tee right now)

Abercrombie - though I love some of their clothes because they are cute and sexy i rarely buy it because it's so expensive

Pac Sun - just not a pac sun person...

Aeropostale - their stuff is ALWAYS on sale and who doesn't love cute clothes at even cuter prices? (wearing Aero jeans right now that i got for $10 :) )

American Eagle - more girly clothes with frills and lace and everything else and not too expensive (Hollister type prices)

overall though, my favorite would definetely have to be Hollister

To everyone who thinks abercrombie is over worn, you obviously don't know what hollister looks like. Hollister is WAY more worn then abercrombie. Besides abercrombie is way better made stuff.

I just love that store. Sure all the people have it but who cares as long as u like the clothes it is good
I kind of like american eagle and hollister too.
