1+1 = 3 for example, if I combine 1 item to another 1 item if the product is new and different from the other items then 1+1=3. But mathematicians agreed to go with 1+1 = 2.

A couple. Hopefully just having recently celebrated their wedding and a good long week of a honeymoon and are looking forward to many happy years of wedded bliss with eachother.
But keep in mind that their are many variables to work with. i.e.: what if 1 was to meet Y later on? ((1+1)/Y) What if 1+1 were to procreate? Then you have to work with random variables. (1+1 (x RND)).

It depends upon what base you're working in. In base 2, the answer is 10. In bases 3-10, the answer is 2.
