Which snails survive best in a goldfish tank that is kept at 72 degrees fahrenheit/ 22 degrees celsius?

Does any one know if aquarium salt, ammonia, or anything else that will kill a freshwater snail?

Also what about a snail for a betta tank kept at 78 degrees fahrenheit/ 26 degrees celsius that does not get too big?

I'm with the previous posters suggestions for snails, Apple snails for the gold fish and Olive Nerites for the betta.

As to the other question, most snails are fairly sensitive to salt and will not do very well in a high salt environment. There are of course some species that thrive in a brackish tank that would easily handle some salt in the water. Ammonia and nitrites will also kill snails before it kills the fish, so the tank should be stable and fairly mature before adding the snails and the snails should be removed before any parasite treatments are administered to the tank.

i'm questioning you may not purchase an algae eaters at that shop anymore. needless to say they are ill and for this reason the different fish killed them. Fish have a vogue of killing off the ill ones, so as that they are actually not getting ill. eye-catching i comprehend. yet whilst your shops around you do not sell snails, the subsequent time you bypass to a lake, attempt to discover some up close or out deep while you're swimming. They do their interest basically the comparable. Or the subsequent time you bypass on trip go searching the close by puppy shops there. Snails are person-friendly to transport basically fill a bag or bowl with water and seal it. yet do not permit it get tossed around too plenty!

Some betta will eat snails. I keep Olive Nerites as the bettas can't eat them even if they try.
