Personally, I think 'love' is far overrated.

Yes. If i wasn't loved or loved anyone then i wouldn't be
here. I would of ended my life pretty soon but i didn't because I
knew that it would hurt the people around me. Yea so what if its "overrated." Its a feeling we all need. Without it, we may be cold and unhappy....or may enjoy hurting others..like in the novel
The Great Expectations. if you read it, you know what i'm talking about.

I think love is very important in our lives. There are many different types of love. Love from friends, family, husbands etc. If you didn't feel loved by anyone, I could see where life would be hard. But I believe that everyone has someone who loves them, sometimes they just don't see it.

guess you're speaking of love in terms of men then?? life is worth living just for the simple fact that you're alive to do so... if you don't feel loved then you obviously don't like yourself much.... and you definitely don't if you think love is far overrated....afterall how can you expect anyone to love you if you don't love yourself first.......... and i don't mean vanity....and if this 'overrated' comment of yours is based on your prior relationship experiences maybe it's that the right man hasn't found you because of your negative vibes regarding 'love'

my life began to have a purpose when i got married and have kids , now i know what i want and what i need to do , all my decisions are base in the love for my family and know my Hubby do the same .
so i can say life is worth living with peopel you love the most.

No, I wouldn't consider life worth living if I didn't feel loved, especially if I didn't feel loved by God.

I do feel that way, but not loved by a man, I need the love of my children and family. I gave up on men a few years ago!

i would keep living, knowing that i would feel loved later on in life. but for the period that i didnt feel loved, i wouldnt be that happy. i think its good that you think love is overrated, if it means youre independent and dont need other people to be happy. but i think its natural for humans (and many other animals) to need eachother to be happy. were programmed to love eachother. its only natural for love to make people happy. the majority of people want to be loved.

there is more to life than love, although a life without love is definitely poorer. you would just miss having a special someone to tell about all the stuff you were doing instead of being in love.

Why do you think most kids are depressed? They just feel unloved.
And I have to say, I don't think life would be anywhere near as good as it could be if love wasn't a part of it.
