Not everyone thinks the judge was unfair. I certainly think she got exactly what she deserved. She did this to herself. Had she abided by the judge's orders from the beginning, she could have avoided this jailtime. She thumbed her nose at the system, the judge, and, most importantly, the innocent drivers on the road who could have been her victims. She got exactly what she deserved.

It was not just a DUI. I had to spend three days in L.A. County prison for driving on a suspended license and unpaid tickets, an even lesser charge than her. It was not a big deal, the food was terrible. I am a (natural) blue eyed blonde and I didn't have any problems. Most of the girls there were in on petty charges like prostitution and petty theft. There really wasn't anyone dangerous in these holding cells. Her imagination is what is hurting her. She could be meeting new people and having comfort from the others there too. She has a private cell too! All she is being asked to do is NOTHING.

Because the unwashed masses worship celebrity. We no longer worship hard work or success. So, for just being a celebrity, Paris is exempt from all laws.

If she were a regular person, she probably would've received jail time before the probation violations.

Paris Hilton is a spoiled prostitute who i think is bringing down society. That being said, in California it's normal for non-violent offenders to serve less than ten percent of their term, for this type of crime they often just get houde arrest. Because of the media attention the judge wants to seem all tough and have no-nonsense personality.

This replaced into guaranteed to ensue. the sole difficulty your marvelous approximately is she hasn't been convicted ...yet. And if she does not it is going to purely be because of the money and legal experts in the back of her. i'm hoping she turns her life around and tries to perform a little sturdy together with her money. Un-American to not help this spoiled brat? How ignorant are you able to get. think of approximately it.

community service and house arrest would be more suitable for this violation no matter who you are. sure she broke her probation but it was for a suspended license....that should not get hard time. I hate what people say about her dui...we'll what if she killed someone...she didn't. that's like throwing me in jail saying well what if she murdered someone, I didn't.

Because most people don't consider DUI or driving violations to be serious crimes. That is, until they are personally affected.
