10.75 oz per box times 12 boxes= 129 oz

there are 16 oz in one pound..., so divide your answer by 16 to find out that a dozen boxes will weigh

129/16=8.0625lbs

(IF you want to, you could convert to lbs first...

10.75 oz / 16 = 0.671875 lbs per box

0.671875*12boxes=8.0625lbs)

the decimal part can be changed so that it's in oz. you have

129 oz. and you know that it equals 8lbs. and some ounces (the decimal)

8lbs * 16 = 128 lbs... which leaves 1 oz left over

8lbs 1 oz....
