Have you ever seen some of the answers in the computers and internet section that are so blatantly wrong, yet people still want to answer, when they don't have a clue what they are talking about.

Absolutely!

The majority of the questions don't give enough detail leaving us to guess at what they mean, or they use IM abbreviations that not everyone else uses... and on and on.

Then half the answers come from people who didn't fully read the question or have no clue and just want the two points. Even if it was a good question the answerers skip anything after the headline and have no clue what they're talking about. --If they ever did in the first place.

I teach computer technology in college, but I'm not about to try answering everyone's questions. Especially in networking where a good quarter of the questions are about how to set up Wi-Fi. Maybe they should read every once in a while. They would find the answers they're looking for already answered several time over.

A lot of questions are evaluations, and the asker choices whichever one feels correct to them...the recommendation they are going to decide on to take. so there's no reply that is so much correct. alternatively...men and women who come on asking questions that they might EASILY get the solutions to on google are simply undeniable lazy. well query regardless that :p

You are so right about this. Yahoo needs better control of the answers. Now it's more "quantity" than "quality".
