I have. One of my best friends was dating this guy who constantly cheated and disrespected her and she always called me to complain and she would always stay at my house when they had an arguement.
Initially I would tell her to leave him alone etc but, she would always end up angry with me. So I listended to but stopped giving her advice.
In the end, I just became weary of the whole situation, seeing her upset, the negative energy...our friendship changed and we eventually just stopped talking to eachother..... I wasnt that sad about it either...it was relieving.

I had a friend that lived next door for 3 years- we became friends because our sons were the same age and we were both single moms. As time went on, I learned that her younger 2 children were from an affair- the man she was dating was married with 6 kids!
At first I didn't know until the little girl called him daddy in front of me. I still remained friendly but just could not understand or get past this ongoing relationship. And I did not want to have to explain to my kids why ****** didn't live with his kids but just slept over some times.
After she moved, she tried to remain friends but I just couldn't hold up my end.

Oh Geez. Yes! It is horrible! She started going out with this one guy and she would never hang out with me. She was always ditching me and when we had movie night her bf showed up and brought along a blind date for me he was a freak we were watching a scary movie and he was hiding behind me! Then my parents came home and I got in trouble because I am not allowed to have boys at my house while they are gone, epically watching a movie! Then the worst part of it was I caught her bf lip locked with another girl and I told her but she didn't believe me! We are in a huge fight right now, I hope she realizes what he is doing to her, I want my friend back.

Yes I have. I actually got my friend together with her boyfriend... then I left town for a few weeks, and when I came back, she told me straight up: she had chosen to stop talking to all her friends because of this man. That included me.
It hurt so bad. The ironic part was that I was the one that hooked them up.

I dont think race or culture should matter in a relationship. You can be in a relationship with anyone and they can bring out the bad in you. I dont think you should change yourself if you are happy with who you are. And if you're dating someone your friends do'nt like I think you owe it to them to ask why. When you start a new relationship sometimes you do'nt realize you're neglecting your friends, and if it dos'nt work out remember who you're always call to help you mend your heart.

Me and my fiancee hooked up my ex friend and my fiancees cousin. The first time they met they were uncomfortable so they wanted us around. After the first time she stopped inviting us up to her house but she'd have other people over all the time. I just thought that was rude when she knew we werent doing anything but sitting at home and watching TV.
