In response to the barrage of fans sending nuts to CBS in support of canceled freshman drama Jericho, the network reversed its decision and has ordered seven additional episodes for 2008.

There has also been some talk at CBS that if ratings are good enough, they may even call for an additional six episodes THIS season, bringing the season 2 count to 13

They just announced due to the campaign by fans that a further 7 episodes will be shot. Depending on ratings returning to previous levels they will consider renewal. Now the question is...will Skeet Ulrich agree to return?

yes, they announced a couple days ago on "Extra" that due to viewer demand, not only will Jericho be back in the fall, they want to air last season in reruns this summer. Yay!
