I've known this girls for about 2 years and she's a really good friend. What she doesn't know is that i've got a big crush on her! So when I finally aksed her out she laughed at me and said you've got to be kiddin me playah! What can I do to show her that I really do like her!!! Not my fault I look like a player

A real friend would not laugh in your face first of all.
If you really really like this girl then tell her "You are the only girl in my life and you have been my friend for a long time and I am ready for a serious relationship".

Its probably not as much as you looking as a playa as it is you coming off with a playa personality. Which most women wont go for because playas cant be trusted. I'd guess your not the romantic type so get romantic, go out of your norm or her perceived impression of your "norm". Leave a long stem red rose in her locker if your in school, or a note in her locker. If your not in school yet, pick a day you know she'll be home and send a couple dozen of roses. However DO NOT sign your name, leave nothing that could tip her off that its you. Play a mystery man and tag her along. then when you think its time to take off your mask, leave her a final note on a box of chocolates or something. telling her to meet you somewhere, beach is always nice..

You seem to ask for what you need to do rather than being encouraged You can explore other ways of letting her know the nature of your personality, ask her out and if she accepts, tell her who you are that she is misunderstanding. Or make a call or send her message thru any means.
The other thing is, you might be thinking that its your looks that makes her fear, you better get it from her. You moght be surprised its anoter thing.
