Also the pool is a chemical free pool, it is indoors and heated to 85 degrees. The gym where the pool is uses salt, instead of chlorine to keep it clean.

I had same surgery about 2 weeks ago and my doctor told me to wait until the stitches/staples (which ever you had) were able to be removed. And wait til I go back to him for a follow-up (about 3-4 weeks) and then he will let me know if I can or can not resume normal activity. So, at the most I would wait about 4 weeks. But, you might want to double check with your doctor when you go back for a follow-up or call him.

Well, you have to make sure that your scars are completely covered because pools have a lot of chemicals so if they get in your knee you would get an infection.
