The name McWha originates from Scotland, but they are all over the world now. There are McWhas in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the USA, amongst others. Most can trace their roots back to County Down in Northern Ireland. There are not many of them around.

hi there my maiden name was mcwha, it is originally from the highlands of scotland that is where my granda came from, he came to northern ireland as a child and stayed here, i have 2 brothers, they are still mcwha of course, but we know of no other mcwhas, i think there are not too many of us around, could you please state where you are from, i am interested, thanks! oh i am from county down.
