I think they do. In the prior Congress, they had a lock on all three branches of government -- so they had everything they needed to "fix" the abortion issue but they did nothing. Why? So they could use it as a plank in upcoming elections.

They play the card because theyre the only ones at the table holding them. The democrats have all but sworn off the religious vote by their support of things like the gay agenda and abortion.

Bush is not a religious leader, he is the leader of our country and our country last time I checked is not a church. You may also want to remember your recent history that democrats voted for the war as well with the likes of Hillary Clinton and John Kerry making the case for WMD's on the senate floor by the same evidence Bush viewed, the same evidence other countries had that all said the same thing, SADDAM HAS WMD's!

And how is a nation gaining freedom in the wake of a mass-murderers reign "terrible?" Was Saddam a really great person in your eyes? If so you must be a neo-nazi.

No, but that is what the American people want to know about each candidate, they want to dig into the personal lives of each candidate. Do you recall Billary's new found religion as of last week? That's what I thought. By the way, WMD's is not the only reason why we are at war, but nice try trying to be clever, too bad it didn't work out for you.

Saddam is the one that violated 17 resolutions and used WMD on his own people. Not President Bush. Yeah buddy, we indeed do remember WMD and I remember all the Dems voting for the war and claiming Saddam was a threat. You Libs forget that the sword cuts both ways.

Yes! So many conservatives are disappointed with Bush because he did not do all of the things he promised the religious right. When you listen to him talk and you observe his actions, it is a pretty safe bet to say religion is not that important to him. I guarantee Rudy doesn't really care about religion either. It is comical to watch actually.

Bush has been caught on tape speaking with his henchmen about his manipulation of the christians. His lack of sincerity was exposed when he refered to them as.. (now this is a quote so don't squeal to the Yahoo police about it).
Bush refered to the America Religious Extremists, as "The Goddamned christians". I'll try to find this on the net and attach it to this question. So check back.
