Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a realistic game. There are many sights to be seen and, yes, I'm sure you've seen the occassional shark. Fish and animals in Grand Theft Auto games are non-interactive. This means that they are programmed to follow a set of instructions unlike other gaming animals. Whenever the gaming character, in this case, CJ, approaches fish and sharks, it's their programming to naturally swim away. I have tried shooting at the fish and sharks, but they are hollow animals and do not die.

There are sharks in San Andreas you just have to get far out at sea, I am not sure if they were sharks but they were big. I was driving a boat far out at sea, I beileve it was a sailboat and i accidentally put on the 6 stars cheat and my boat was blown up, I swam way under and then i started seeing squids and really big fish. I sailed out from the board walk in San Fierro, (sailboat right off the shore) i ended up far out around the tip of the Mt chilliad and kept going out and aomewere after about 10-15 minuits of sailing i blew up and went under water. So goodluck.

There are a manner of sea creatures but no sharks im afraid. Often dolphins are mistaken for sharks in the game. Although it warns u about sharks in the games manual yet after alot of playing it i never did find any. The same goes to evry other gta.

I was just playing. And I was flying a jetpack and i landed in the water around Red County. Just as I was flying back up, something came out of the water and lurched at me. I didn't get a good view, but I looked like a shark to me. So... if you want to see one, look in the ocean around Red County.

there are some in the oceans if you dive down and swim underneath the surface of the water. they will swim away from you very fast if you try to come to close, though.
