NO! You risk infection, and you do NOT want to get your nipples infected. What if you do this and then your nipples are scared and deformed because of it? Would it be worth it?

I know people who have done it, and it was fine, but I would not recommend it for several reasons. I am not sure how easy it would be to do nerve damage this way, but why risk that by doing it yourself, when you have no idea what you are doing? Also, professional piercers use special needles. I think the fact that they are hollow makes the resulting piercings heal easier, but I'll admit I'm not sure. However, these needles are larger than your average needle, and make a hole the appropriate sizes for body jewelry. If you pierce yours at home with a regular sized needle, you will not be able to use regular sized body jewelry. It is not a good idea to put jewelry of an inappropriate size in, because it will reject more easily. A well trained, skilled professional piercer will know the proper location to pierce your nipples (They need to be pierced far back, towards the areole, but NOT THROUGH the areola) and they will know what size of jewelry, or what gauge is good for your nipples. The appropriate size, I have been told, reduces the risk of rejection. The proper jewelry (material, size, placement, etc.) is important. If you insist on doing it at home, you can order these needles off of BME (Body modification ezine- http://www.bmezine.com/), but I still think the safest bet is to use a professional piercer. If you are going to do it at home, though, do your research and then buy the appropriate gauge of jewelry and needles, and make sure you sterilize everything to avoid infection. All in all, getting it done by a skilled piercer in a clean shop with sterile equipment would be the safest thing to do. Think of it this way. You want this done right to avoid complications, and also, if you are going to go through the pain of getting your nipples pierced, you probably want them done correctly, so you can keep them and have them looking good, right? You don’t want them poorly done, infected and needing removal, or rejecting on you. Also, you don’t want to risk damaging anything.
Okay, I just found this quote- “A hollow needle has proved itself to be an excellent (and non-traumatic) design, but the real reason people use hollow needles is that it makes follow-through (the insertion of the jewelry) a simple process. If you use something like a safety pin, you will be able to make a hole, but getting the jewelry into this hole will be needlessly complicated and will probably do peripheral damage to the piercing.” I got this from http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/DIY_Piercing. Also see this- http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/Nipple_Piercing. You can read about self piercing at the first one and info on nipple piercing at the second, but again, I would seriously advise against home piercing, especially with that particular body part. Rejection can cause scar tissue, and possibly loss of sensation.

Absolutely NOT!!!!
An experienced piercer has properly sterilized equipment and knows where the nerve ending on your nipples are.
You risk infection and losing sensation in your nipples.
It is never safe to pierce yourself.
Spend the money and get it done properly if you feel the need to be pierced.

in case you already do no longer understand a thank you to do it your self, interpreting someones suggestion over the internet won't be gonna help. in basic terms experienced professionals ought to pierce human beings. you haven't any longer have been given any theory the place particular nerve endings are (hit them and you could unfastened feeling on your abdomen button, or reason your self intense discomfort), you do no longer understand the place hidden veins and arteries may well be (hit them and you will bleed like loopy) and devoid of understanding the right positioning and approach of needle injection, the piercing will probable be crooked and not heal desirable besides. ok? haha

you are a fool if you do. the nipples are functional, and if you peirce them you will never be able to nurse a child, and the sensation will be gone from them. Why would you want to mutilate yourself in such a fashion?

nooooooo. very very bad. if not done properly, you could give yourself a nasty infection which could spread to your breast tissue and possibly damage it, resulting in scar tissue.
