the teacher gave us worksheets to help us, but he gave us things we didnt learn! i have no way to contact my teacher. this is not an actual problem on the test, but can you please explain the process on how to do this? please, im not trying to get answers from you or cheat i just need help on this one problem.

You just multiply 200 x 0.064 = 12.8 students, say 13 students

No. choosing chef
(6.4 / 100) x 200
= 6.4 x 2
= 12.8 pupils
Take this to 12 or 13 pupils as required.

No. choosing teacher
(5.5 / 100) x 200
= 5.5 x 2
= 11 pupils

It would be 6.4 people per hundred *that is how you get a percent* So multiply that by 2. It would be 12.8 students although you may have to round as you cannot have .8 a student.

It would be 6.4% of 200. The extra information, 5.5%, does not enter in.
