It's a scam they could be trying to steal your identity or clean out your bank account. Do not answer the e-mails just delete them.
A true company that has you as a winning player will contact you by snail mail not e-mail.
The best thing to do with ANY e-mail that comes from places you do not know is to delete them. you could download a virus or something else to your computer just by looking. Is it worth it?

Get some anti spams. You usually get it as a part of an internet security suite, like Norton, McAffee, or in my case Intego (Mac only, sorry). If all else fails, call your local law enforcement, but I'll doubt they'll do anything about it unless they get it into the higher branches (FBI, CIA, etc).
Good luck!

1. Its called Spam. It's hard to stop. Don't worry about it. Just delete it.
2. If you use Yahoo mail, you can mark it as Spam. Then ignore it.

Get Spam Arrest. The person on the other end has to verify that they sent the e-mail.

Gmail and Thunderbird both have decent spam filters. I've not liked Yahoo!'s. Who do you use?

If they arrrive in your inbox, all you have to do is not open them and click on "spam". They will not come to your inbox anymore. They are all scams.
