Is there an easier way to get to Stinson Beach from San Francisco?

I was wondering if I can get off a later exit from highway 101 and drive back to the beach from the north to bypass the curvy road of driving towards the beach on the 1 northbound. I drove behind a bad driver last time and it took forever to get to the beach. Thanks!

unfortunately all roads to STinson Beach are windy and curvy. You could go up to San Rafael and then go through Fairfax and take the fairfax bolinas road and then go south. but it is just as bad as highway 1.
