If you park you car and remove the key while the steering wheel is turned , it puts a load on the ignition lock. Try turnig the steering wheel in the same direction the front wheels are turned while you turn the key. This should take the pressure off the ignition switch and let the key turn.

Try turning the steering wheel while turning the key because the steering wheel is probably locked.

Your steering wheel is locked. I forget if you turn it clock wise of counter, but give it all your might both ways and you will feel it click, then your ignition will turn on.

Oh jesus people like you should not be driving.
1) Put the key in the ignition
2) Depress Brake
3) While holding brake down turn the steering wheel clockwise and release it (not to hard-it should budge and release)
4) Turn the ignition on
5) Give back your license to your local state DMV
6) Promise not to drive.
7) Stay away from cars
