Maybe another 2-3 years because that defense is sturggling, they lost a few key players in Tory James and Sam Adams the DT. When that defense strengthens they will be a legit super bowl team.

Not until the defense gets better and the Bengals understand the importance of the law. Giving up 42 points in one HALF is pathetic. It's as if there secondary was sleeping back there every single game. I don't know how they went from leading the league in turnovers last year, to the worst pass Defense in the league. As of right now it'll be a while with so many powerhouses in the AFC like Indianapolis, New England, San Diego, Baltimore; and with up-and-coming teams like New York (Jets), and Denver. SO until there overall team gets better, he'll just pile up stats, nothing more.

It took Manning 9 years. I think that Palmer and Manning are one in the same QB. They both put up a ton of yards every year. Difference is Palmer had a major knee injury, and Manning has been relatively injury free.If they can keep the same team together, I'd say that the next 2-4 years should do them right.

Next year, when the Bengals play a 16-game schedule all at home.
What? Well, of COURSE the the NFL will do that. The other players besides Carson Palmer can't violate their probation.

The Bengals have the talent to go to the Superbowl. But they have to many off field problems. I think the Bengals organization will clean house and produce a Superbowl team in 09.

I've said before that SB 42 will be Bengals and Saints. I'm not predicting a winner yet, but I think that this year will be Carson Palmer's best chance at a ring.

OH-TAY the bengals will give up on him in 3 years when the next phenom comes out of college and he hasn't produced a afc title. Then he will get traded to a dallas, miami,or even seattle,or Philly and he will be the difference maker taking that team to the bowl.Only to lose in a Montana,Elway heart breaking defeat.

How long before his team can stay out of prison?
They'll need to stop the legal problems and build some defense fast and I wouldn't rule them out of winning it in the next 2-3 years.

First off, clearly, Cincy is not in the same caliber as Indianapolis, New England, San Diego. Also, the AFC North will be improving around them. Wish in one hand and...you know the rest.
