I'll tell you why some men don't care enough to remind them selves. They remember their own birthday just fine. Just a verbal Happy Birthday is all I want. I get that if I say something. He remembered just fine when we were dating. Does marriage change things that much. I feel he just does'nt care and that really hurts.

It is nice to be acknowledged on your birthday by your husband but keep in mind, you didn't marry your father, and all men aren't the same. If this is the only thing that is at issue, then why not give him a reminder a week or two beforehand? Send him an e-mail. Leave him a note in his briefcase. Write it on his calendar. Etc. Nothing wrong with a little reminder. Some people have a hard time remembering dates. I happen to be one of them. Don't be so hard on him. It doesn't mean he doesn't care, loves you less, etc. Perhaps this is the Yang about him that compliments your Ying. Or vice versa. Regardless, promise to be more forgiving of his shortcomings, and maybe he can promise to try a little harder to remember.

When men get married, they seem to think that they don't have to put more time or work into a marriage....When their seeing you as a girlfriend, its like they do all the impressing just to get you in and hooked....Once they've got you in, they think they don't have to try anymore or much at least. That's how they think, and they have the nerve to expect women to improve for them after they've married them!

Also, men do not have memories like elephants like women do!! We women remember everything!! There is scientific proof that men do not have good memories, even if it means Birthday's...Yeah, sad, I know...I ALMOST threw a brick at my man when he confused my birthday for another day in a totally different month that was a whole month earlier than mine!!

I know that feeling not nice at all. Well stop being subtle and put post-its up a week or two in advance of your birthday announcing when your birthday is - if you doesnt take the hint then well you were right he doesnt care. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you.

use a website (like amazon.com), set up a wishlist, and email it to him 30 days before your birthday, two weeks before your birthday, 1 week before your birthday, and 3 days before your birthday.
