When I started to take the pill I felt like I was going to throw up and for the first few months I did, I am taking the pill where you do get your period, I can tell a noticable difference in my cramps, though I still need to take Advil. When you use the Depo shot (no period) you get headaches and since the shot lasts for three months, your headaches will too. Caffine promotes cramps, drink plenty of water.

Any birth control pill should definantly help you. And your mom is right about the midol. Tylenol is acetaminophen and midol also has acetominophen in it so if you take it you will get an overdose. And that's all you need right now. Grab a hot water bottle or heating pad and try to rest.

I know this sounds weird but when I had really bad ramping like it sounds like you are having I took a tablespoon of Pepto Bismol somehow it coated my stomach and always helped me feel better. Also I wouldn't do a BC that stops you all together that is a natural cleansing cycle that your body needs too stay healthy
