well yup almost everybody pinches my cheek and bot IT HURTS! hahaha but i guess it's they're way of showing love. and i like being pinched on the cheek better then a hug or a small kiss.

There are 'guy things', 'girl things' and, yep, you guessed it - 'old lady' things, lol. Pinching face cheeks is definitely an old lady thing.

Instead of getting a kiss (most likely from a non relative to a baby or child), that it how they show their affection.
Sometimes a kiss is less painful.
