Its weird cause I took a ovulation test the other day and it seemed to look like i was ovualting then i took it today and it was not but I have stretchy stuff...confused.

It's very possible. Many women who don't ovulate regularly will have patches of fertile quality cervical fluid throughout their cycle. Basically your body gears up to ovulate and you get the EWCM but for some reason the egg isn't actually released. Typically when this happens your body will try to ovulate again in about a week.
After you see a positive ovulation test you can expect to ovulate in the next 12-48 hours. So, a positive test 2 days ago and then eggwhite mucus today makes perfect sense.

I don't think so. I am pretty sure the CLEAR, STRETCHY discharge is always indicative of ovulation

Yes, it is, my CM is never the way they say it should be at any particular time of month
