Some of the most important were the founding fathers who wrote the constitution of the United States. They were all extremely educated & well read men.
Most others have been educated who made the world better. Not always through formal schooling or classes but by learning on their own & reading books.

Even you can change this world. Provided you got a clear idea about why you want to change this world and how you gonna do it and you are determined to achieve results.
Education has nothing to do with changing the world or not changing it. Do all the mit grads change this world?? Hitler was a stupid struggling artist but he did change this world like nobody has ever done. Though all the 'world changing men' have something in common - 'they were/are all great leaders' so if u want to change this world, learn to lead the masses n who knows? maybe someday u too will change this world!

A lot of different people changed the world. They are all of the above. One of the biggest was Jesus. Whether you believe that he's the son of God, or a profit, or not, with all the people who do believe in him there's no way he wouldn't change the world. Hitler's a big one, too.
