If I had to pick out of those I'd choose sad ones. But memorable movies to me are the ones with a deeper meaning, that have a very well developed theme that make you think

Movies that have amazing scores. Like Gladiator, Troy, all of the POTC, The Da Vinci Code, King Arthur...anything written by Hans Zimmer. He is amazing.

Im a picky person but have 2 fave movies of all time not sure which category either would be in!

Usually the ones that have one major point and have a distinct difference from all other movies. Like The Matrix. "A world that was turned upside down." Something innovative and different.

really bad movies with crappy endings.

Robocop, because a cyborg robot cop just rocks! Plus if you get the uncut DVD with deleted scenes you get to see Peter Wellers hand blown off with a gun!

Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, that was the most mezmerising and mind-altering movie i have seen. One of my favourites. I'm not sure what category it falls into.

the english patient was memorable, but not in a good way. people at the movies were cheering and partying when he FINALLY DIED.
