I was bored today and started looking up reviews about various movies.
I was interested in looking up reviews and a summary about one particular movie I had seen the trailer of a while (or long while) ago but I never saw. I cannot remember its title, or many details about it, only what I saw in the trailer, and I cannot figure out what the name of the movie is and it's driving me crazy.
The trailer illustrated what seemed to be an apocalyptic plot. This guy wakes up one day and no one else exists. That's all I really remember. I THINK it had the word "day" in it's title, but I can't figure out it's exact title.
Any idea what movie this could be?
I'm guessing it was released between 1999 and 2005 since I know it wasn't released within the last two years, and I doubt it was earlier than '99.

"Left Behind." The movie is based on a series of books which are very...religiously bent. Not my cup of tea, nor did I see the movie. I could barely force myself through the first book, and that angered me, because when I'd bought it, I thought it was an interesting plot...I didn't realize I was purchasing a thinly-disguised manifest of religious peddling.

Well, actually, I think it's called 28 Days - 28 Days Later is the recently released sequel. But who's counting?

was it the movie "28 days later"? he woke up at a hospital not knowing what was going on, but there was an outbreak of a virus that infected people and turned them in to killer zombies. There was actually a sequel that just came out called "28 weeks later". the first one was FN crazy. not sure bout the second tho, haven't got to it yet.

It must be 28 days later when he wakes up in the hospital and no one is around until he starts to walk the streets and zombies chase after him. Great movie.

...if you're thinking of 28 Days Later, he's really not alone. Zombies are walking about the planet and the mortal people still alive are just hiding.
