Ohio State CBs are usually a big success in the NFL. The Bills alone have selected 4 since 1995
1995-Marlon Kerner...2 ACL injuries were all that derailed his career...before that, he was solid at nickel for us...even holding Jerry Rice to 5 catches for 41 yards in his rookie season
1999-Antoine Winfield
2001-Nate Clements
2006-Ashton Youboty-spent most of camp last year dealing with his mother's death...which slowed his development. It remains to be seen whether he'll be another in the long line of great Buckeye CBs...he's currently ranked as the 5th CB on the depth chart behind McGee, Webster, Thomas, and Greer

Here we go again.

There isn't any one school that gets all the good players. Lots of times, good corners go to smaller schools to be a shutdown corner and get all-league attention. It depends on the athlete. For every big-school NFL corner, there's a mid-major or Division I-AA on the roster too.

The way the greedy big schools fans talk, any school smaller than Auburn needs to stop playing sports. Ohio State, Florida State and all the other money prostitution schools can buy what they want from police blotters. Enough about the big schools already.

Ohio State has produced a bunch lately, starting with Springs, Winfield, Plummer, Clements, and Gamble. They have 4 or 5 other guys on rosters that aren't as big a name.
