My computer does not startup after the power goes out. The computer will work way later on the same day. I have a Antec case, power supply and a Asus motherboard. I think the power supply is not working properly. I built the system so I only have manufactures warranty.

I have exactly the same setup (Antec case, power supply and an ASUS motherboard and homebuilt) and also encounter the problem only after power outages. Here I was thinking I was alone. We've had two power outages in my house in the past week (which is quite unusual for this area). After the first one, the computer started working after I'd unplugged it and opened the case to look around for a while and see if I could spot anything that looked strange (there wasn't and I didn't actually change anything inside). After this second time, I noticed that even though the fan on the power supply isn't running and the computer isn't starting up, the power supply was quite warm to the touch. I've just tried unplugging it and letting the power supply sit for a few minutes the case is cool to the touch and now it turns on and starts up just fine.

Replace the power supply. You seem like you know what you are doing. Go ahead and replace it.
