Never take a qb in the first round. Brady isn't even a top 3 qb's in fantasy football. If you want Brady you can get him in the 3rd or 4th round.

I honestly believe Tom Brady is worth the 1st pick in a fantasy draft. Tom Brady may not put up huge numbers like Manning or LT but he is one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL. While running backs and some other quarterbacks that you may use your first pick on are likely to get hurt Brady is also likely to suffer the same fate but has proven to not be very injury prone at all. The only game he has missed since the start of his career was the AFC championship back when the Pats first won the superbowl but that was also his first year as a starter. Brady put up good numbers with Caldwell and Gaffney as his go-to receivers, now that he has Moss, Stallworth, Washington, Watson, Brown, Caldwell, Gaffney, and Jackson I wouldn't hesitate for even a second to use my first pick on him. Thats just me.

Brady would definitely be the second QB taken in most drafts, but in no way he is worth a 1st round pick. In fantasy, you build the team with RBs and then you pick the rest. With the quality of RBs watered down as many teams will have either a rookie or a second year player running the ball, nobody who knows how to play this game would even think about drafting a qb (outside Peyton maybe) in the first round.

If you have pick 1-1, it depends on your league set up. if it's a RB friendly league, then Tomlinson all the way for pick 1-1. If it's not a RB friendly league then I'd go with a toss up between Manning or Brady. You know that Manning is good for at least 3000+yards and 20+ touchdowns every year. Brady's numbers will spike this year with Moss on the field.

No quarterback this year is worth a first-rounder in basic leagues.
To warrant a first-round pick, your QB needs to be head and shoulders above his peers. The team he plays on needs to throw like 65% of the time or better with expected TD/INT ratio of 3:1.
If you're smart, take Laurence Maroney first and Brady second if you think that the Pats are so awesome.

What do you mean, LT is not a QB, he is a RB. Tom Brady I think will lead all QBs with the most yards and touchdowns and that 87.9 passer rating should and will be in the 90s. Brady should lead the league now for many more years to come.

No. In fantasy football, the elite RBs go first, followed by a couple of WRs. The difference between the top QBs and the second tier QBs is not nearly as great as the differences at those other positions.

pats balanced offense + maroney's projected breakout year = brady having <30 TD passes. yards should be good. you can't deny LT as the #1 pick. you'd get laughed out of the football world if you passed up on LT

I assume you mean for fanasty, and i would say no, regardless he is still at patriot and patriots go for wins not stats. It also depends how many people you have in your league and what position you are in the draft, if you are around a 10th pick in the first round you may want to consider tom brady, but id say no to a top 5 pick.

Not first overall pick....Think of the seasons Manning had lately playing indoors and would not even garner him first pick status.
If Manning and Palmer are gone and your league favors QB stats than yes take him because there is a big drop off.
