FULL QUESTION:

With Bush now admitting that the US is "not winning" in Iraq (1) and that Global Warming is due to human involvement (2) wouldn't it have been better if you'd listened to your European intellectual superiors in the first place?

Actually you should have listened to us when you voted for Bush in the first place.

Euro intellectual superiors? Funniest thing I've read all day. Thanks for the chuckle.

Intellectual superiors?

Ok then why on a contenent that has 100 million more people that the USA, but the economy is smaller?

In Europe if you are so intellicually superior then why are the muslims in your countries treated as unequals and not sufficient to be citizens of your glorious nations?

Why is Europe still divided into all those nations? And don't tell me it is America's fault that is a Nazi ploy, blame your problems elsewhere.

Why do you not practice charity as individuals instead of letting your government's aid be used, and it goes to corrupt leaders in Afrcia? Do you not see that happening? you are my intellicultual superior.

Why could you guys not solve the problems in the Balkens and asked President Clinton to lead and solve the problem in the late 1990s, after pleading with him to stay out in 1993?

If Euro are intellicultual superior then why have all the President of France gone to the same University? Wouldn't any school do? Wouldn't that mean that there is a diversity of thought?

If Euro is intellicultually superior then why is one of your sources an American newspaper?

I quote a friend who was in the army for my last point. He said he realized after being stationed over there that, "No one hates more than the Europeans. All that they say is bs, they just hate."

Umm, let's see. Just give me a minute, I'm not too smart. Would those euro intellectual superiors be the same ones who brought their own people $6.50/gallon gasoline several years ago? Or would it be the ones who have let their countries be overrun by muslims? Oh, wait! I'll bet it's the ones who still look to the US to protect them militarily, isn't it? Or maybe it's the ones with 19% sales tax, $25/month TV/radio tax, a medical system that's in shambles, with doctors struggling to make ends meet. If they're so intellectually superior, why do they still consider Bush the leader of the free world? Why does the US lead the world in technology? Why are the vast majority of the movies playing in european theaters made in the US? You'll have to excuse me, I'm having a hard time with this one!

I have to say the United States has done pretty well for itself by ignoring "superior European intellectuals" over the last 225+ years.

Isn't nothing more American than ignoring a bunch of quasi-aristocratic so called European intellectuals?

Yeah, Europe as a whole is a lot more intelligent than America.

So much for America bailing the "intellectually superior" Europe out of two world wars while letting Europe stand comfortably under our nuclear umbrella during the Cold War.

I will say that France and Germany have displayed remarkable intelligence as of late by tossing their socialist governments out on their ears in favor of more conservative leadership

Perhaps Europe is on the verge of another Renaissance?

Why exactly should we listen to you?

You're not Americans - you don't matter 'in the first place.'

You're not superior to us in any way either, if you were, your country would be on top of the food chain.

Instead, your people have to nitpick each and every single mistake the US has made to make you feel morally superior. Not going to happen :) Nice try though.

Because we don't HAVE any superiors in Europe, intellectual or otherwise.

If you intellectuals are so damned smart, why haven't YOU done something to solve the world's problems, rather than constantly whining to the US to do something, and then pissing and moaning about what we do when we do it?

Bush doesn't listen to his own citizens so why would he listen to Europeans?

Whatever Bush say or does now it's too little too late.
