I've read that putting whites in hot H2O with lemon juice does a good job. Any tips you know of?

DISCLAIMER: I'm asking about laundry. I have a son who loves to run outside in his socks, & a Love who has to have clean, white undershirts for his job.
Sorry I didn't catch that----I guess I've just not been paying attention to the idiot attention-seekers on here today. Thanks for giving me a 'heads-up'.

As a one-time single parent....raising 2 sons without a mother
figure for a time. I just always washed whites all togather with
your nornal detergent and bleach (everyone has their favorite)
After they have washed in bleach for a few minutes, lift the lid
push the button (whatever you got to do...stop washer) and
then just let them sit for a little bit....45min to 1 hr. depends
on how much bleach you put in......come back fire that baby back-up......ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.....
You know esp. boys and their socks.......hope it helps ya!

I use a scoop of OxyClean. It whitens the whites and removes weird stains. Bleach never does much for me.
