You need to use something that will work on enzymes, so get a product made for pets that removes urine from rugs, that will be the best solution. Then, air dry the mattress in the sun to rid of odor. Next, get a plastic mattress cover with a zipper and COVER THE MATTRESS!

My suggestion would be for prevention rather than cleaning....Kick the lazy twenty year old girl out unless this is a medical problem .

When she gets my age (71) an occasional accident is accepted, but put a rubber sheet under the sheet.

First of get her to drag it outside a scrub it clean!

Depending on the material, if foam it can be washed with wash-powder and a scrubbing brush then the mattress would need to be raised off the ground onto a frame to drip dry.If old style horse-hair its more difficult to clean.

A Top brand-smell neutralizer such as Febreeze then can be sprayed on the mattrass, then apply a rubber sheet cover in case the lazy

I would have the lazy 20 yr. old... Drag the mattress outside and clean it and for her 21st birthday give her a party and as a gift buy her, her very own set of rubber pants, rubber mattress cover and a box of Depends....That would do it for sure..

Go to your local pet shop and buy a spray bottle of "natures miracle" brand pet stain and odor remover. This works excellent on urine, vomit and other nasty stuff.

First TAKE IT OUTSIDE to work on it, so the neighbors are sure to see it.

then try using bleach or soap or whatever... Don't be afraid to ask the neighbors for advice.

I don't think you will have any more problems with the lazy girl.

The best solution is prevention. The next time you get her drunk, take her back to her place to have sex or pick a location that you do not mind staining. This way you will not have to worry about her passing out and peeing in your bed. Is she a squirter?
