It looks like it may need an adaptor or a different hose or wand. It only cost me £20 as a second cleaner for the car so I'm not too worried but I may just be being blonde and overlooking something. Its a yellow and grey Brush control DC04 model. Any ideas??

One of the parts must have been cannibalised from another model, as the wand should fit inside the hose and the tools fit either onto the hose end or below the yellow diffuser on the top of the handle.

When you take the wand off of the machine do not pull the plastic pipe off the metal tube all together then insert the crevis tool or other tools onto the end of the plastic handle that you push it with.

I have a yellow and gray dyson too... bought from Amazon.com.... remanufactured model...

All of my attachments fit except for one... and it is exactly the same size as the hose... I don't get it.
