it meens that the altenator ore charging unit isnt working and you need to have it looked at otherwhise you will keep on replacing the battery....

Sounds like your alternator is bad or the wiring from it is defective (in summary-your charging system is not working). The starter on most lawn tractors becomes an alternator when the tractor starts.
You could have a short that is draining the battery. If the short was zero resistance you wouldn't be able to start the tractor at all. Also the battery will spark betweem the terminal and cable when you connect the new battery.

There is probably a fuse between the ampmeter and the solinoid that could be the problem or the diode in the charging system could be bad. Check all the connections of the small wires coming from under the flywheel.

You may have a short in the electrical system draining the battery, or the battery is not receiving a charge. Take it to your local dealer and have them check the stator output and for any short to ground somewhere in the circuit.

Your mower has an inline fuse from ign circuit most use 20 amp to alt,charging circuit find and replace you should charge bat w/small charger over night after replaceing fuse.
