It's very important that you do not put it on a charger before it is completely dry!!! If you do, it can kill the boards inside your phone.

Remove the battery and all pieces that you can and dry them off and keep them separate for now. Everyone has their own remedy for fixing wet cell phones, but I have heard from customers that most of the time letting it dry in or under your refrigerator seems to work. Remove all excess water that you can with a paper towel first. It sucks, but keep it powered off and away from the charger for at least 3 days.

Check your local phone book for cell phone repair shops - some of them have water damage repair services. I believe they dip it in something (I assume alcohol based) to help speed the drying.

Good luck!!!

You will need to exchange it with your carrier for a new one.
Hopefully you have phone insurance. I remember when my got "dipped" and when the tech opened it up, he said the battery got wet. He said it changed colors which was an indication of water damage.

Open it up, remove battery and let sit for a day. Dropped mine in the cat's water dish once, thought it was dead, ordered a new one When it arrived started using that, then put the old one together for the granddaughter to make believe with, and it started right up.

open the battery case, battery and sim card....let them first dry...DO NOT USE A DRYER OR HEATER....
just let it air dry....for maybe a few hours (10), then put em back together, u shud be good to go. If not..then ur phone is messed up from inside...would need repair.

Gluck
