Sandy Koufax would make Roger Clemens look silly. It would be like comparing Greg Maddux to Ramon Ortiz. The only reason Koufax isn't mentioned as the best pitcher of all time is his career was cut short by injury. Remember he was only 32 when he retired. Koufax is the best pitcher of all time

Too much depends on the teams behind them, the lineups they would have to face.
Koufax would demolish the 2006 Astros but get taken to school by the 1999 Yankees.
Clemens would make short work of the 1964 Dodgers but need his "A" game against the 1963 team.
Put a peak version of both against the same lineup (of anyone, just identical lineups) in a neutral hitting, neutral lefty/righty park, and I think Clemens would come out looking a little bit better. Rocket has been stingier with the walks; not by much, but it's a real margin.

Sandy Koufax, of course. If he didn't have arm problems he would have set a few pitching records

Koufax would win, he would win big in a post season game, he dominated the hitters more than Roger

both are two of the best ever !
koufax if he didnt get injured, who knows what numbers he would of put up, but the fact is he did get injured, & thats part of the game! maybe, clemons longevity speaks for itself ! not to mention the record of 7 cy youngs ! 2nd all time in strike outs as well ! ( as of yesterday , he & the " unit" are going back in forth on the 2nd all time strike out list)
it would of been a great game to see with those two all time greats pitching , thats for sure ! you have to also consider, what hitters are they both facing, what type of year, or era ?
what ball park ? ect....
i say, it would of been a pleasure & a treat to watch them both in this matchup !
