When the OPK is positive it means you will O in about 12-24 (some test even say 36 hours). The key is to have the sperm there and waiting. Having sex every other day before a positive is great. It is suggested to have sex 2 days straight after you O too.

Day 10 should be fine provided that your DH does not have sperm count issues. You can continue to do it daily or every other day until the day after you ovulate. Keep in mind that the ovulation stick measures the LH surge that happens 12-24 hours before you ovulate.

I did one of those ovulation urine test kits the first month we started trying, and since I knew days 11-15 are the days to do it, we did it every day around that time. I ovulated on the 14th day, and we got pregnant! I am now 20 weeks!! I would do it everyday around that or at least the day before, the day of, and the day after ovulation. Good luck!!!!!

It's best to start early because sperm can live for 5 days, and those tests only tell you 12-48 hours before you ovulate. I started trying afew day ago and got a positive result yesterday so we will continue trying for a couple of more days.

You basically have a three day window when you are ovulating. I never used the sticks only clear Blue Eaasy fertility monitor. But they tell you your fertility peaks. So the day before the highest peak, day of and day after are the best chances to conceive. Also remember female sperm can live longer (up to 3 days) So... Even day 13, 14, 15 and 16 would be a great time for you to try. Good luck to you & if it doesn't work... try a monitor. They are expensive, but so easy and work :")

The ovuluation test detects your LH surge 24-48 hours BEFORE ovulation. It is best to have intercourse on the day you test and everyday for 3 days thereafter. Sperm can live in the body for up to 72 hours. So, the more the better.
Also, have your husband's sperm tested. I went 6 years thinking I was the one infertile. My husband's sperm doesn't swim long enough to fertilize an egg. So have it checked out.

unless you are afraid of burn out or something you can have sex even when you are not ovulating. sperm can last a couple days so it is good to start before you are ovulating and have sex every other day.
good luck and don't stress it only makes it harder to get pregnant!
