About a week ago, my boyfirend and I had unprotected sex. He told me he was not able to pull out on time and came in me a little. We were on vacation and outside of the country so the Plan B pill was not available. I was supposed to get my period yesterday and did not. The only reason I am stressing so soon is because of the fact that we did have unprotected sex. I am a worry wart, and I wanted to know if it would be too early to take a pregnancy test and which one would be the most accurate. HELP!!!

most tests say to test on the first day of a missed period, so by that, no you are not too early to test.

More than likely if you are pregnant it is not from the unprotected sex you had less than a week ago.....based on your stated cycle and menstrual due date. Ovulation takes place approximately 14 days into the cycle (2 weeks BEFORE your period if you are regular). So there is little chance that conception took place just a few days ago. However, that does NOT mean that you are NOT pregnant. It just means that conception PROBABLY occurred at an earlier time. You definitely need to obtain a pregnancy test to determine if that is the case.

You can test now...They make test that say you can take them 5 days before missed period to first day being late.(e.p.t.)
But you have to remember These tests are detecting your hCG level (human chorionic gonadotropin ) which rises when you are pregnant. If your level hasnt gone up enough for the test to detect (since it is so early) you may get a negitive result.
Buy the test that says it can detect 5 days early and if you get a negative.... test again in a few days or see your doctor for a blood test if you still have not gotten your period in a week.

If your only incident was about a week before your period was due, then it's very unlikely that you are pregnant. If you have normal periods (28 days give or take) conception most likely happens on about the 14th day. 6 days before your period should be one of the safe days. Not impossible, but pretty darned safe.

I would suggest that you add more items to your vacation packing list. You know what they call women who rely on withdrawal for birth control? "Mommy".

If you missed your period you can test. Try any of the tests that say you can test up to 5 days BEFORE a missed period or as soon as you miss. I usually use Early Response and it has never failed me!! I got a positive 4 days before my missed Period. Good luck!!!!!

If your period was due yesterday then you are technically one day late so test will show positive if your pregnant. Clear blue is always good. WOrrying and stressing over it will delay your period more so try and relax

please call a pregnancy resource center which you can find through optionline on the net, or call 1800afamily, please take care of yourself and your baby if you are pregnant! by the way, plan b is an abortion because it prevents the baby embryo from implanting in the uterus, abstinence is the way to go to prevent pregnancy, even if it means never being alone with or breaking up with your boyfriend.

Chances can be that you are.
It's still a bit to early (unless you go to the doctor).
Or wait a few more days.
