United States of America was once a land of hard working people, and the Democratic party was considered its back bone. The Democrats proved numerous times that they could stand strong against the Republicans with democratic leaders that kept our nation united. As this country slowly watches the Democrat party lose its appeal, the US once united has become undivided and dysfunctional. But the Republican party remain untouched untainted, there views their inconstantiecies(bullcrap) never change, which cause the Democrats to become more bitter and resentful and take every opportunity to insult this country and its President. Democrats believe seperating themselves from government the President and his polices make them wholesome again.

When the Administration is a total failure it makes sense for someone to avoid association with it. The Republicans are too. The neocons soured many people on Congress. There are still enough of them around, especially in the Senate, to prevent any progressive legislation from being passed. Even if passed the President won't sign it. We will have to wait until the Democrats are in charge of both the Congress and the White House before we can expect anything positive to happen.

The current president is Republican, so its only natural that the Democrats try to appear separate, and different.
