Are you kidding? He's smiling. He's freaking smiling!! He did succeed. Success is not measured by income, by status, by societal values. It is measured by the individual. All else is purely judgement. I'd be so happy for him...... and I'd nod my head thinking......... we always knew he'd do the right thing. :)

What am I supposed to be jealous of, his smile or his job? I guess I would feel jealous of his smile if I had a better paying job, but I was still miserable. I would feel jealous his job if I was unemployed. How's that for a cop-out.
