The problem lies in your initial, hypothetical premise:

"If God exists to prove Himself . . ."

that premise is unsupported and, in fact, illogical. An entity's "raison d'etre" could never be the "need" to "prove" itself, for such a "need" could only postdate existence.

Besides, rest assured - God's existence will NEVER be "proven" - if it were, why, the game would be over for all of us (no more free will.)

I think to better understand the concept of God, we as human form must realize that we are the mere consciousness of what we call God, all that lives, all that is, is God, we cannot expect to think that if God exist "He" will provide proof by showing himself in human form, God is all around us, there is no need for proof, just look within yourself, look at all that is, and that is your proof, he expresses through many different avenues.

God has nothing to prove. It is our job to prove we love him unconditionally with all out heart and soul. God is the almighty creator of all things, and faith in him and his son Jesus Christ, is the only way to eternal life in heaven. God always has been, and always will be, this is in the bible, and is a hard concept for mortal man to understand. Reading the bible, prayer, and faith are the only ways to achieve salvation, and through the blood of Jesus, his son, whom died for our sins.

God has nothing to prove, even Himself. That's why He's God.
