7y+2x=7
=>7y= -2x+7
=>y= (-2/7)x+1
comparing with y=mx+c
slope = m = -2/7
y-intercept=1

7y + 2x = 7

7y + 2x - 2x = - 2x + 7

7y = - 2x + 7

7y / 7 = - 2x / 7 + 7 / 7

y = 2/7x + 1

- - - - - - - - -

Slope is 2/7

y intercept is 1

Please clear to Y = (7-2x)/5.7
To find the slope divide (-2)/5.7 = (-20/57) or -0.3508771

to find the intercept in Y make X=0 and resolve for Y.
Y=[7-2(0)]/5.7 = 7/5.7 = 70/57 = 1.2280701
