Your DH's nickname is J and your name is Melissa (assuming that's your real name too). What about Jaymel (pronounced Jay-MELL)? The name Jaymel sounds very much like Jamile (Juh-MILE) the contestant on the first season of So You Think You Can Dance.

a million. i think of timelessness is extremely important whilst naming a baby. and that i trust what you merely stated, i understand i could make a wager approximately their age in accordance with their call. 2. My favorites many times fall into: e) timeless Names: Names that have been in use incredibly continuously for the final a hundred years and might't be dated to a particular decade. (examples: Elizabeth, Katherine, Miriam, Rachel, Caroline, Lydia, James, William, Victor, Samuel, grant) 3. Worst decision for a baby: f) Oddball Names: Names that are so uncommon they are able to't experience regularly used of any era and for this reason have many of the timelessness of the class above. (examples: Demetria, Rosamund, Evadne, Gawain, Abdiel, Piers) ?

My son's real name is Jon Tyler and we were planning on calling him that - both names together like it was one name. Well, pretty soon we started calling him JT (don't know who started that!) and he is NEVER called Jon Tyler. Most of the time I just end up shortening it to "J", which, of course sounds like Jay, so my answer is: pick any of the names that simply start with the letter J and it'll work!
