How do I put a game into the Wii?

Question

Whenever I try to insert a game into my Wii, it makes a strange noise, but nothing happens. Is it supposed to pull my disc inside or do I push it in?


I tried pushing it in and nothing happened. When I hit the eject button, it didn't come out either, so I had to pull it out.

Is my Wii defective?

The Wii is suppose to pull the game in. I would say your console is defective. Take it back where you got it from. :)

Take it back to the store you bought it to exchange for a new Wii, it sounds defective make sure to check the disc for any scratches too (especially if you bought it seperate) because I would think they have to replace the game along with the console if it was damaged by the Wii.......Good luck (I hope you still have your receipt)

There is a thin thing on front of the Wii. All you do is put the game disk right in there, but not roughly, just gently push the disk in there and make sure the concole is on, too otherwise you won't play the game.

It should pull it in. Make sure you're putting it in the right way. The labeled side should face to the right (if your Wii is vertical). If it still doesn't work, it's probably defective.

I would say it is porbably defected but before you take it to the store I would call Nintendo's customer service they may have a solution for you + from past experiences with Nintendo's customer service, I can tell you that they are great

did you turn on the wii? and some times it takes a while for the game to load.

it pulls it in go back and tell them and theyll tell you whats rong and if it doesnt work exchange it

you should get a free wii from this site instead of buying retail
