Most of the reasons why criminals kill is to gain power. Someone has what they want - kill and take it from him.
Someone has power over your space - kill and claim your space.
Someone is just there.. - killing him will send a message to your peers which will result in more power for you.

There normal "just" reasons include:
Someone is guilty - the state has a right to kill the guilty.
Someone is threatening your country/community - kill for the protection of the community.
Someone is threatening you or your family - kill for self protection.
Someone is attacking your religion. - kill to protect your religion when it is under attack.

There are many reasons, greed, revenge, alcohol/drugs etc. What is more interesting is why many others don't kill others. The noise from the street below drives me to the point of dispair. I have too take deep breaths before doing something I would regret!

Part of nature. They have done it since the first prototype apemen/humanoids were on the earth.OK we are supposed to be more civilised but the killing still goes on.Man instinctively is a killer even under his veneer of civilised respectability It has always been so and there is no sign of it lessening.

people are being so feirce ful when they have the sense of being insecure or when they are hurt.most of the time, when a person is harmed, they will never get calm 'till they are satisfied to feedback.some do thier rebelion by lighter ways.but then there are some agrresive people who never let others have some chances so they owe thier lives.especialy these days, people are baing furious because of money ,ownership, and so many more.jaz baeing materialistic, thats what i mean that causes death of others too.

people are evil. That's all there is to it. People have chosen to ignore the sanctity of life and live for themselves, trying to get as much money as possible, they even use religions like christianity and islam, and contort the meanings to make killing people ok (look at the crusades, they were nothing to do with religion, and all to do with power).

Could'nt imagine why, try asking a killer? The only way i could do it would be if someone harmed my family, you would have to be so full of rage or extremly disturbed to want to end someones life.
