Stages Of The Holocaust

Prelude: taking away their rights and property (so-called Nuremburg Laws): 1993-1941

Gearing up (1942): Wansee Conference, Jan 1942 gathers all the top SS and Nazis bureaucrats to plan for the implementation. High volume extermination required all aspects of German life, from the Gestapo who round them up, the trainmen who transported, the pharmaceutical companies that supplied the Zyclon-B gas, and the contractors who built the crematoria...and everyone inbetween.

Implementation (1942 -Nov1994): the highest months being the summer of 1944 where the death camps at the Berkinau-Auswitz complex were topping out at 26,000 deaths per day.

Cover up (Nov 1942): Himmler issues the order to destroy the crematoria and evidence of the death camps as the Red Army approached from the east. Eichman and other SS leaders marched many Jews as possible to other camps to be killed. The high volume of the previous two years, however, was over.
